Mechanism of action
Selective Alpha-1 receptor agonist which causes mydriasis without cycloplegia. It is a selective A1 agonist hence leads to vasoconstriction. It activates beta-adrenergic receptors at high concentrations. Its preparations are available in combination with other drugs.
