Mechanism of action
| Inhibits the number of enzymes-COMT hexokinase, succinic dehydrogenase and stimulates prostaglandin synthesis and guanyl cyclase activity. Adrenochrome has also been shown to be a psychotomimetic agent and produces EEG abnormalities. |
